Estimates are free and are given after the roof has been looked at in person, except where photographs are genuinely enough for a simple question. An estimate covers the work described in it.
The condition of the decking beneath an existing roof cannot be fully known until that roof is removed. Where replacement decking is needed, you are told before it is covered and before the additional work is carried out, and you decide.
This is the single most common reason a roofing price changes mid-job, which is why it is raised at the estimate rather than discovered afterwards.
Roofing in Central Florida is scheduled around the weather. A roof is not opened up when the forecast makes that unwise, and a job may move for that reason. We will tell you as early as we can rather than leaving you to work it out from the sky.
Roofing work in Florida is permitted work and is subject to the building code in force. Where the extent of a repair means the roof must be brought to current code, that is explained before work begins rather than after it starts.
A roof keeps water out from above. Where a problem originates elsewhere, we will identify it and say so plainly, but it is not covered by the roofing work unless it was quoted.
